How the Commission makes decisions
Major policy proposals and decisions
Major policy and research reports and papers are publicised through the Commission´s website. The Commission also produces an annual Research Strategy and related materials. Individuals seeking information not contained on the website or background information relating to the reports, should contact the Commission´s Head of Policy Development or our Freedom of Information and Data Protection Co-ordinator.
Public consultations
The Commission makes publicly available its responses to public consultation exercises (including consultations on Equality Impact Assessments) and consultation papers issued by the Commission to fulfil its remit with regard to keeping the legislation under review and other key aspects of its work.
Senior level meetings
The Commission provides approved minutes and supporting papers of the Commission and its key Committees. Minutes are published following the meeting at which they were approved.
On the same basis the Commission´s Executive Team meeting minutes are also available.
Questions relating to these and requests for additional information or supporting material should be raised in the first instance with the Freedom of Information & Data Protection Coordinator.
