Gender Recognition Panel Website, Tribunals Service
Set up under the General Recognition Act 2004 to ensure that transsexual people can enjoy the rights and responsibilties appropriate to their acquired gender, it assesses applications from transsexual people for legal recognition of the gender in which they now live

Gingerbread
Gingerbread is the charity which works nationally and locally, for and with single parent families, to improve their lives. The Gingerbread Single Parent Helpline provides help, advice and signposting on a wide range of parenting issues including benefits, tax, legal rights, family law and contact issues, childcare, violence, housing, maintenance and CSA

An initiative within the Parents Advice Centre, aiming to increase awareness of the issues facing local men and boys and promoting their social inclusion

National representative organisation for women and women´s groups in Ireland

Regional organisation dedicated to advancing women´s equality and participation in society by working to bring about social, political and economic change for women
 
Women´s Support Network
An umbrella organisation of commuity-based women´s groups, centres and organisations in Northern Ireland that plays a role in coordinating and networking with these organisations and facilitating joint lobbying to challenge inequity and promote positive policy change within a democratic framework

Women & Equality Unit
Part of the Department for Communities and Local Government, it supports the Ministers for Women, who are responsible for promoting and realising the benefits of diversity in the economy and more widely
