Reaching out programme
| Advisors | Community groups |
| The Commission is working with Citizens´ Advice Bureau and Advice NI in the Reaching Out Programme. The programme aims to increase awareness of the Commission and equality law among advisors. It includes a one day training session on the role of the Commission and the requirements of equality law. Equality advice materials and display stands are also provided to participating offices and organisations. Click here for more information. | Our programme objectives are to reach into community and voluntary organisations with training that equips community workers to confidently spread knowledge of equality to their members, to help people see unlawful discrimination when it takes place, and to encourage individuals, when necessary, to make use of the Equality Commission´s services. Click here for more information. |
