Consultation: Complaints and Investigations Procedure
 

The Equality Commission has been undertaking a review of and revising its Policy and Procedures for Complaints and Investigations under Paragraphs 10 and 11 of Schedule 9 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998. 

The complaints and investigations provisions in Schedule 9 relate to potential failures by a public authority to comply with its approved Equality Scheme.

The draft revised Policy and Procedures document is available below and we would now welcome comments you might have on it, particularly on the issues identified in the consultation questionnaire, and the extent to which the revised Policy and Procedures are clear and easy to understand
