Employer Training Programme

The Equality Commission's Employer Training Programme begins again in September offering free sessions in Belfast, Craigavon and L/Derry.

NB: Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. We permit up to 3 employees per organisation on any session. Reserve lists are in operation.

Regional Employer equality updates

We are holding regional employer equality updates which will be facilitated by Equality Commission and Labour Relations Agency staff. These sessions are for the public and private sector:

     Tues 23 Oct, 10am - 2pm @ La Mon Hotel, Belfast - Book Now
     Tues 6 Nov, 10am - 2pm @ Lough Neagh Discovery Centre - Book Now
     Tues 27 Nov, 10am - 2pm, City Hotel, L/Derry - Book Now

These events will focus on:
  • A summary of key equality issues affecting Northern Ireland
  • An equality update summarising key legal cases of the past 12-18 months and predicted equality developments for 2017-18
  • An update on developments in relation to employment law delivered by the LRA.

Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss how these developments are likely to impact on them, in terms of their own policies, practices and procedures, and discussions will be facilitated by a member of the Equality Commission’s staff.
