Various protections exist in relation to age, disability, race, religious or similar philosophical belief, political opinion, sex, married or civil partnership status, pregnancy & maternity, sexual orientation and gender reassignment.

Early conciliation service

The Labour Relations Agency  (LRA) provides a free conciliation service.  If you are considering taking a discrimination complaint at work to tribunal you must register your complaint with the LRA before starting proceedings.
