Public Opinion Surveys: Equality in Northern Ireland


The Public Opinion Survey 2023 gathers views and attitudes  to equality, discrimination, workplaces, education and public services. It uses a representative sample of 1023 adults aged 16+.  This survey had a larger sample size than other opinion surveys undertaken by the Equality Commission.


Our latest Public Opinion Survey 2023 obtained responses to the following questions and issues:

Awareness, understanding and level of engagement with equality

 

Equality of opportunity in education

 

Personal experiences of unwanted behaviour

 

Access to services

 

Personal perception of safety in the local area

 

Access to participation in public life
